White has always had a soft spot for the Irish powerhouse. And why not, the former World Champion is the biggest superstar the promotion has to offer. In fact, he is a global phenomenon.

However, McGregor has been inconsistent in UFC ever since his devastating loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018.

Conor McGregor was recently seen considering his prospects in the UFC as well. A few months ago he almost bagged a super-fight catchweight bout against Anderson Silva via Twitter.

However, the Irishman seemed to have feigned interest in the matchup as the fight failed to materialize due to a lack of follow-ups. That said, Anthony Pettis has already agreed to replace him against Silva.
