UFC 249 is back on the calendar, with May 9 fixed as the date of the event. The event will take place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, United States.
Though the fight card for UFC 249 is as explosive as it can get, a UFC event is never really complete without everyone’s favorite commentators.
There were various rumors circulating about Joe Rogan’s attendance at the event before UFC postponed it. Yet, Dana White lifted the air of disappointment revolving around Rogan’s attendance by confirming that he would be there.

Just how spectacular is UFC 249 gonna be?
After the longest period of inactivity that the UFC has ever seen, Dana White is bringing the promotion back with the “baddest” card. Exactly as promised.
For the main event, “El Cucuy” Tony Ferguson will take on “The Highlight” Justin Gaethje for the Interim Lightweight title. In Dana’s own words, the fight promises to be “one of the most violent fights you will ever see. I guarantee that. Their styles. How they fight. Their mindsets. This fight is gonna be unbelievably violent.”

The co-main event will see the Bantamweight title bout between Henry Cejudo and veteran Dominick Cruz. However, some people may view the event as White’s acknowledgment that Cruz is still one of the best in the division and deserves the title shot.
The rest of the card, too, is packed with explosive fights. And with the best commentators present, the fans will get the classic UFC experience, or something even better than anyone could ever expect.
