Abdulmanap had been in a critical state for months now. At first, it seemed like he was suffering from pneumonia. However, further diagnosis revealed that it was COVID-19. Thereafter, he underwent heart surgery and was placed in a medically induced coma.

As per RT.com, Khabib’s father took his last breath at 57 years of age. The MMA mastermind played a key role in shaping Khabib mentally and physically. Besides that, he also helped many Dagestani fighters reach their full potential.
