“Can I See You in the Bath Tub?” – Daniel Cormier Gets a Bizzare Request

Daniel Cormier is much more than just one of the best UFC fighters on the roster. The former two-division champ has a podcast with veteran MMA journalist Ariel Helwani. On the most recent episode of the podcast, DC and Helwani, the Canadian journalist made an unexpected demand. Subsequently, Cormier couldn’t control his laughter.

Cormier has a big fight booked for August 15th. He will meet Stipe Miocic for the trilogy. DC has declared that the fight will be the last one of a long and successful professional career. The two fights between Miocic and Cormier have been shared by the two fighters. The trilogy will be the decider regarding who is the best Heavyweight in the UFC right now.

The stakes are higher than ever. Therefore, the fans have started backing up their favorite fighters. Cormier has reposted the stories of some of the fans on his Instagram. This didn’t sit very well with Ariel Helwani.

Ariel Helwani bashes Daniel Cormier for not adding value to his experience on Instagram

The MMA journalist has not been very impressed after having to see multiple reposted stories by his friend DC. Helwani said that Cormier reposts every single story that has his mention. However, the former Olympian denied it.

“Not everyone,” Daniel Cormier said in the recent edition of DC and Helwani. “Imagine how many there is. It’s the people that I know that I try to repost them. But then I sometimes think people write stuff knowing that I’m gonna repost it. So it’s a chance of getting on the thing.”

“But you’re not adding value. When you are posting an IG story you have to add value to my experience,” Ariel himself began laughing thinking he was giving himself too much importance. “I saw the same picture nine times. I was like give me something else. Can I see you in the bathtub? Can I see you in the sauna?”

Both DC and Helwani are usually in a jolly mood during the podcast. However, after listening to Helwani’s latest demands, Cormier couldn’t control himself. He asked Helwani to say pause while he tried to subdue his laugh. Even Ariel was laughing out loud at his own words.

Cormier has started his rigorous preparations for the fight against Miocic. The fight will play a huge role in deciding how DC will be ultimately remembered as a fighter. A win over Miocic can strengthen his claim for one of the best to ever step inside the Octagon.
