There have been no official announcements regarding the preliminary and early preliminary fight cards of the event. However, the main-event and the co-main events have already sent the fans into a frenzy.

As per the reports of ESPN, Edgar vs Munhoz was originally scheduled at Fight Island. However, Munhoz tested positive for the coronavirus, forcing him to pull out.

Since he is reportedly recovered by now, the two bantamweight contenders will meet at the APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Not to forget, Uriah Hall vs Yoel Romero is also expected to be filled with fireworks, considering the technical attributes of both the contenders.

Edgar vs Munhoz preview

Former featherweight champion Frankie Edgar has been teasing his bantamweight debut for months. However, various circumstances halted the plan until the officials came up with the date of August 22.

Since his defeat against Chan Sung Jung, Edgar has been out of UFC. Thus, he would look forward to cementing himself once again with a successful 135 lbs debut.

Munhoz will also aim to bounce back from his recent loss against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 238. Before falling prey to the ‘Funkmaster’, Munhoz was riding a three-fight win streak.

No wonder he wants to get back into the win column and the upcoming matchup is important for him.

Romero vs Hall preview

Romero and Hall will face each in the co-headliner. While Romero is yet to notch a win in his last three fights, Hall is relishing on a two-fight win streak.

However, it still doesn’t rule out Romero’s chances of claiming a sensational win. Even without all the stats, Romero vs Hall appears intense for several other reasons.

Both the middleweights are strong knockout artists. Thus, they are expected to go on a war opposite each other in Las Vegas, treating the fans with an epic contest.
