The superhuman protocol starts with a workout, followed by the PEMF Pad and a cold plunge. Then you need to do red light therapy and wrap the protocol with oxygen therapy, and White follows this routine every day. “Being healthy is very time-consuming,” says White, so he follows a superset approach to save time.

They kicked off their workout without doing any warmups and did the seated cable rows. The President of the UFC is very time-conscious, so he tries not to take any rest in between workouts. He instantly switched to the triceps rope extension and then to the easy bar curls. Then he did the biceps curls, and he did all these exercises without any rest.

The duo then repeated the workout for one more set. West mentioned, “At this point, my biceps and my back were extremely fatigued, but there was no stop, and we just kept going.” James then pointed out the speed of the President of the UFC and said, “It’s so crazy how fast he moves; literally, it’s like I’m not even done with my one set; it’s two exercises ahead of me.” This is not all about their workout; this was the initial phase of White’s protocol. Let’s find out what else the duo did.

White explains the benefits of the cold plunge

After working out, they went to get a cold plunge, and White explained some of the benefits of it. “When you cold plunge at 50° for 3 minutes, your liver releases this shock protein that’s really good for your body anti-aging, and everything else gets rid of inflammation. You feel great for hours,” explained the UFC president.

Then they moved to the steam room and spent a few minutes there to maintain their body temperature. After the steam, there comes the final step of the protocol, the red light therapy. White mentioned that this will even help with eyesight. He mentioned that Joe Rogan “actually feels like it’s already helped his eyesight.” In the end, West, being a little playful, gave White matching t-shirts for the upcoming UFC 303.

Even though the UFC President is a busy man, he is still focusing on his health, even at his age. This gives a clear message to the younger people to focus on their health. Will you start taking your health more seriously after taking a look at White? Let us know in the comments.
