Ben Askren Roasts a Fan By Revealing His Fight Purse for Damian Maia Fight

Ben Askren is still one of the most talked about fighter in UFC after his loss against Jorge Masvidal. When he made his debut in UFC, there was a lot of hype and speculations surrounding him.

Ben Askren was unbeaten until that point and he had fought in multiple organizations. Askren was also the welterweight champion in Bellator and One FC. His first fight in UFC was against former champion, Robbie Lawler. Though the fight ended controversially, it’s fair to say that Askren managed to get a win on his UFC debut. He was even on his way to fight for the title after the win against Lawler.

However, things fell apart for Askren when he fought Jorge Masvidal. Going into the fight there was a lot of tension surrounding it since Askren talked a fair amount of trash during the fight promotion. Well, the result did not go in the way of Ben Askren as he was knocked out by Masvidal within 5 seconds of the first round. Since then Askren has been successful to make a lot of haters on social media.

Recently Ben Askren replied to one fan’s comment and it’s fair to say that he roasted him good. Earlier, Ben Askren put up a tweet about him buying bitcoins using eToro and showed his support to cryptocurrencies. Responding to that a fan replied:

“Going to need the money after 26th”

Well, it did not take long for Askren to respond as he came up with this tweet:

“I get paid 210k just to show up on the 26th. What do you make yearly?”

Ben Askren is going to fight Damian Maia in UFC Singapore on October 26th. The fight will be the main event of the night and will mark the return of Ben Askren since the loss to Masvidal. It’s safe to assume now that, if you are trying to troll Askren on social media you better be ready when he gives back the heat.
