The Notorious Conor McGregor could fight the ‘Goat’ Anderson Silva very soon after accepting his callout on twitter. McGregor sparked controversy with his tweets after he named Anderson Silva as the No.1 MMA fighter and himself as second or tied first for the ‘Goat’ status. McGregor based his rankings on an array of finishes across multiple weight divisions.
Silva is often considered the greatest due to his long reign as UFC middleweight champ . McGregor has gone onto achieve a lot as well, he’s one of the few fighters to hold belts in two different weight classes and is regarded as the highest PPV draw the sport has ever seen. Both fighters are considered amazing strikers and despite Anderson’s age, this will be a close contest.
