UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, spoke to Adam Catterall from BT Sport ahead of his UFC 259 bout. ‘The Last Stylebender’ gears himself to take on Jan Blachowicz for his light heavyweight strap with the hope to become champ-champ. A win on Saturday night would make Israel Adesanya the first undefeated dual champion in the company’s history.

The fight is intriguing for many reasons, none more so than for the stylistic challenge that both men pose. There is a heavy emphasis on awkward movement and range finding as both men prepare to go to battle in Vegas. The fight card has a lot of attention cast towards it due to the fact that there are three title fights.

“I’ve never spoken to them [the WWE] about it directly but I speak to a few, a couple of guys from the attitude era, my era. Never spoken about it. Growing up, before I knew what the UFC was, or it ever existed, that was definitely a dream of mine. A path to I guess being where I’m at right now in the public eye was being a WWE superstar. So yeah, definitely is a possibility.”
