During a recent appearance on the Believe You Me podcast, Gorimbo confirmed that he has been in touch with Johnson on Twitter. The Zimbabwean fighter mentioned that he and the WWE superstar-turned-actor are trying to arrange a date to meet up in person. Gorimbo said, “I speak to him [Johnson]. We chat on Twitter and stuff like that, and we are arranging a date [and] where we’re going to meet, in person, obviously.”
Moreover, Gorimbo also expressed his excitement to meet Johnson, considering he’s one of the most popular personalities in the world. He added, “It’s anyone’s dream to meet The Rock.”
He further went on to reveal that ‘The Rock’ is a very busy individual, so whenever he’s ready to meet him, Gorimbo will be there without any questions. “We are organizing a date. He’s a busy man and yeah, whatever date he will say, ‘Yeah, let’s meet’, I’ll be there, you know,” said the Zimbabwean fighter.
