The UFC and the WWE have reached a merger. The two promotions came together and the Endeavour group will head the new company. While the Endeavour group holds 51% of stakes, WWE shareholders will hold the other 49%. The deal values WWE at $9.3 billion and UFC, which is owned by Endeavour Group was estimated to be worth $12.1 billion. This makes the deal approximately $21 billion. UFC superstar Conor McGregor has tweeted in excitement after the deal. He looked stoked about the merger and asked fans to wait for great things in the future.
WWE had been looking for a buyer for quite some time now. Ari Emanuel will now be the chief executive of both companies. Vince McMahon will be the Executive Chairman of WWE. While both promotions have seen a decline in share values, Conor McGregor looked very excited about the deal.
