‘Durinho’ seemed happy about the fact that there is a possibility of both iconic fight promotions could have crossover events in the future. He said, “Yeah, that would be nice, I think. Both are huge companies. They can help each other, and [it is] a better marketing [move] for each one, you know.”

‘Durinho’ believes Brock Lesnar is lucky not to have met him

Burns took it to ‘The Beast Incarnate’ during the media and said, “I never met him but he’s [Lesnar] lucky I haven’t met him. [But] I want to slap him.” Apparently, there is an incident that has enraged Burns about Brock Lesnar. He then gave an explanation for his wish to slap the former champion.

“Because he cannot push DC [Daniel Cormier] like that when he came all the way there in the Octagon. I wanna slap him in the face,” said Gilbert Burns. The incident in question is from the moment when Daniel Cormier called out Brock Lesnar at UFC 226 and ‘The Beast Incarnate’ shoved him during their confrontation. ‘Durinho’s respect for ‘DC’ as a UFC legend may compel him to start a beef with Brock Lesnar.
