‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ recently featured a discussion about Logan Paul’s drink, Prime, which has been named as the official sports drink of the UFC. However, fans of the popular podcast were not thrilled about this news, as they expressed their disappointment on social media.

Despite the mixed reactions, Prime has seen great success since its launch. Created in collaboration with Logan Paul‘s former opponent and fellow YouTuber KSI, the drink has been marketed heavily to the youth around the world, leveraging the duo’s massive influence.

However, the product has received mixed reviews on various aspects, including its pricing. While some find it to be overpriced, this hasn’t deterred the sales figures.

When it comes to taste, Prime has received mostly favorable reviews. But during the recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, standup comedian Brian Redban offered his rather unconventional take on the drink to UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

Joe Rogan and Brian Redban discusses ‘Prime’

During the episode #1984, the popular podcast host was joined by fellow comedian Brian Redban. Shortly after the episode began, the two started discussing their favorite drinks, and Joe Rogan made a rather interesting comment about his preferences, stating, “I like booze to taste like booze… I like the smell of f**king evilness in it.”

Redban, on the other hand, had a different take on it, saying, “I don’t. I mix my sh*t with like, Kool-Aid and stuff like that.”

As they continued talking about drinks, Rogan pointed at the bottle of Prime on the desk and suggested that it would make for a good mixer. Redban, however, had a rather unexpected thought on YouTuber-turned-WWE star’s drink, “This[Prime] is like the most sugary drink that doesn’t have sugar in it.”

As the conversation was heavily centred around Prime, the UFC commentator, too, gave his thoughts on the drink. “I haven’t had the hydration one, I’ve had the energy drink one. Those are pretty good.”

Despite receiving mixed reviews and criticism, Prime has seen remarkable success in a short period of time. While not universally accepted and loved, the brand has managed to capture a significant portion of the youth market.
