The sport that has left many scratching their heads has elicited a similar reaction from Rogan. The 56-year-old introduced a finding of his to Hulk Hogan. He said, “You know what’s crazy dude? I found out that slap fighting, they have to test those guys for drugs.” Rogan elaborated on his statement. He continued, “Yeah, I want a f**king energetic slap fighter, right? I don’t want a slap fighter who’s f**king drinking green tea and taking creatine. I want my slap fighters drunk, right? Don’t you?“.

The comment immediately had the ‘Hulk’ laughing heartily. Rogan also questioned the legitimacy of slap fighting as a sport saying, “It’s ridiculous. Apparently, they’re treating it like a real sport, so it has to get approved by the athletic commissions.” Hogan, a larger-than-life figure in the world of professional wrestling, joined the conversation with a hearty chuckle. He added, “They just want their money, man“. 

Power Slap is surviving despite backlash

The WWE superstar’s laughter was a lighthearted reception for Rogan’s humorous analysis of the situation. But Rogan and the ‘Hulk’ aren’t the only ones confused by the sport.
