It has been more than 6 years since we last saw Ronda Rousey in MMA, but rumors about her return are still alive and fresh. Interestingly, these rumors reignited a few weeks ago, with UFC fighters also addressing the return of UFC’s first female superstar.

There is no denying the fact that Rousey played a phenomenal role in building the UFC women’s division in its budding stage. However, after her two consecutive losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, Rousey decided to hang her gloves. Soon, she switched to WWE, where she currently is. However, the former UFC champ might have dropped a huge hint about her return recently.

Last weekend, WWE fans witnessed one of the most exciting nights of the summer, Summerslam. In the events of the most unique matches, Ronda Rousey faced WWE star Shayna Baszler in an MMA rules fight. Baszler was able to defeat the former champion via submission.

After the event ended, Rousey took to the Instagram post to send a short but significant message to the WWE world. Posting a few pictures from her last match, she wrote that her sole reason for her last WWE stint was Baszler. Now after losing to ‘The Queen of Spades’, she had no reason to stay in the professional wrestling company.

“You were the reason I got into this business… Now I got no reason to stay”, Rousey wrote on her recent Instagram post. This clearly means that ‘Rowdy’ is leaving WWE now. Many fans are also taking this as a hint that the former UFC champ is coming back to the MMA cage.

Recently, Rousey appeared in an interview with Us Weekly. There, she revealed what her dream fight would be. Fans expected Rousey to choose Holly Holm or Amanda Nunez as her dream fight, as the WWE star has lost to these fighters in a tough manner.

However, she chose a surprising name. According to ‘Rowdy’, Gina Carano is her dream fight. “My dream opponent would be Gina Carano. She’s a pioneer for women’s MMA, and I can’t think of a better way to say thank you than to whoop her *ss,” she said.
