A few months ago, the world of MMA and beyond was left anxious about the condition of Mark Coleman- the living legend of the UFC and the first heavyweight champion of the American Promotion. The MMA superstar had been hospitalized due to heavy smoke intoxication. The cause? The daredevil risked his life to save his parents from a fire that broke out in their home, not far from Toledo, Ohio, in the United States. He did so, as reported by the local media before the firefighters arrived.
But when it seemed like the troubles ended for Coleman after he got discharged from the hospital, he revealed that he had to be re-admitted due to a septic infection in his hip. Probably caused by his injuries sustained during the heroic deed. Being a through-and-through superhero, he has overcome his hardships again. Coleman released a video on his Instagram announcing that he has finally been released from the hospital after his 6th surgery.
In the caption of the video, he shared the major news with his fans. He wrote, “Leaving the hospital after surgery number 6. I’m feeling great and the surgery went really well. Thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers. I’m ready for whatever life throws at me nothing can keep me down or stop me. Gods plan always works out. I feel blessed to be able to receive the medical care I do.”
