UFC star Jorge Masvidal is a man of many talents. The UFC’s one and only BMF title holder has been a professional fighter for almost two decades. During that tenure, Masvidal has been a part of a reality show and even made an appearance on the pro wrestling scene. Therefore, the 305 representative was more than happy to give a shout-out to a fellow Miami native’s pro wrestling debut.

Back in October 2021, Jorge Masvidal opened up about his intentions behind the AEW appearances. “Street Jesus” has always loved violence. It turned out AEW attracted him for the same reason. Speaking to Ariel Helwani, the 38-year-old said,

“There’s a lot of savages over there on that side, on that AEW side, lots of savages right, we can agree, I am sure you have seen them. Savages, yeah right, I am here to domesticate them.”

Masvidal is currently set to face Gilbert Burns at UFC 287. He will look to bounce back from a string of losses with a win over ‘Durinho.’
