Recently, Joe Rogan had the legendary wrestler Ric Flair as a guest on his podcast, JRE 31974. During the podcast, they discussed the possibility of Jon Jones vs Brock Lesnar and what would happen if the two ever fought.

According to Rogan, it would have been a very interesting fight. Primarily, because Lesnar had excellent wrestling skills and his power doubles were almost impossible to resist. “That would have been very interesting because Brock was so f*cking big. Brock’s wrestling was so good. When that guy shot a power double, it was like getting hit by a bus. He was so big, it would have been interesting,” said Rogan.

However, the UFC commentator gave a slight edge to Jon Jones. He mentioned how Cain Velasquez was able to defeat Brock Lesnar, and Jones was also at that level. “But Cain Velasquez beat Brock up a couple of times. Jon is at least that level.”

Joe Rogan is not the only one interested in this heavyweight dream fight. Even Jon Jones himself has expressed his desire to fight ‘The Beast Incarnate’. In a recent interview with Sporting News, Jones was asked about a fantasy fight that he would like to be in.

Without thinking much, the heavyweight champion named none other than Brock Lesnar. Jones described it as a ‘David vs Goliath’ fight due to Lesnar’s massive size. Jones even hinted at this fight becoming a reality, as he said – “never say never”!
