The UFC’s color commentator, Joe Rogan, boasts massive fame in multiple fields owing to his multi-directional works apart from the UFC. Rogan‘s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, had also topped Spotify’s top Podcasts list multiple times, giving a testimony of his and his show’s popularity.
The 55-year-old podcaster hosted the noted Youtuber, Stephen Findeisen, in one of JRE’s recent episodes. Apart from a volley of other topics, the duo spent a lot of time discussing Logan Paul‘s controversial venture, the ‘Cryptozoo’. Rogan apparently was quite ignorant about the entire thing. Hence, Findeisen, also known as ‘Coffeezilla’ explained how Paul‘s new venture was basically a scam.

The JRE host also asked a question to Findeisen after understanding the entire thing. Findeisen answered Rogan but also stated there were a lot of things behind that.
Joe Rogan wanted clarity if Logan Paul’s Cryptozoo was an intentional trap
The whole ‘Cryptozoo’ incident had taken quite a toll on the noted Youtuber turned WWE star, Logan Paul‘s reputation. Previously, the 27-year-old had marked his new venture as a “really fun game that makes you money”. The game required tokens to be bought at the initial stage with which the investors could buy digital cartoon eggs.
Now the eggs would hatch on a certain date into animals that would gain more tokens for the investor. Also, two animals could be ‘bred’ into a new species which would earn investors more coins in a cryptocurrency platform called ‘$ZOO’.
But, a lot of eggs didn’t hatch on the given days. It deprived the investors of the tokens and earning coins on ‘$ZOO’ and a lot of them labeled this entire venture as a scam. Rogan gained an understanding of this whole issue from ‘Coffeezilla’ who was also investigating it. Previously, Paul had also denied taking any responsibility for this entire alleged scam.
Findeisen described Paul‘s iteration at that time, saying, “[Logan] came to find out that he had hired criminals, who were selling on the backend, like some of the tokens”. The 27-year-old blamed them for causing the entire trouble from the backend denying any responsibility in this regard.
But later, he came forward and assured a refund to the ‘Cryptozoo’ investors amounting to $1.7M. However, Findeisen revealed, “he hasn’t refunded the NFTs, it’s been over a month he has done this [announcement of refund]”.

The JRE host put up his question here, stating, “So is it possible that he’s just gathering the money?”. He continued, “Or working out a way to do it legally?”. Many viewers might take these questions from Rogan as his curiosity to know whether this alleged scam from Paul was intentional or not.
Coffeezilla gave his opinion about Joe Rogan’s question, mentioning the background factors
Findeisen gave a proper answer to Rogan‘s question, but also talked about the various issues surrounding Logan Paul‘s alleged scam. ‘Coffeezilla‘ stated, “I wanna say it’s possible. When you promise people [refund], you know the longer you wait, the less people are gonna take it”.
It was apparent that even though Findeisen appreciated the 27-year-old’s announcement of refunding the investor’s amounts; he wasn’t a bit into the delay that Paul was showcasing in actually refunding the amounts.
He further gave out a few more words, re-stressing his point. The YouTuber stated, “I don’t know if he’s doing it because he wants less people to get the refund. He probably is busy. But, my thought is, a transgression of his magnitude where you’re playing with people’s money and livelihoods; you cannot take it lightly.”

To date, there has been no news about any investor getting a refund for his invested amount on ‘Cryptozoo’. If things continue in the same way, then ‘Coffezilla’s’ affirmative answer to Rogan‘s question might be converted into a negative one.
What would be your answer to Rogan’s question? Will you prefer to be in the same boat as Findeisen?
