Joe Rogan a Fan of Hulk Hogan for Bidding Adieu to WWF Forever to Fulfill His Iconic Role in Sylvester Stallone’s $270 Million Film

Hulk Hogan recently opened up on Joe Rogan‘s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. During their chat, Hogan’s cameo appearance in the Sylvester Stallone-starred movie Rocky III was also discussed. From the conversation between them, it became obvious that Hogan has a lot of memories connected to the movie. However, not everything about those memories was good. The wrestling legend showed up to the movie after going against Vince McMahon Sr. He still remembers clearly how things turned upside down just before he was packing to go to Los Angeles to act in the movie.

Before leaving, he dialed Vince Sr. to inform him of the same. However, Vince Sr. asked the WWF legend not to go and act in the movie. He even warned him that he would be fired from the organization if he chose to go forward with acting in Rocky III. Hogan was determined and traveled to LA to be a part of the iconic scene. Joe Rogan praises Hulk Hogan for going forward with the movie

Hulk Hogan and Joe Rogan sat together in the #2024 episode of JRE. During their conversation, Hogan detailed how he was asked to leave the WWF forever for acting in Rocky III. Later, Rogan appreciated Hogan for staying firm with his decision. The 56-year-old said, “Good for you, sticking to your guns, doing that movie.” According to Rogan, Hogan’s cameo was one of the most important aspects of the movie.

He further added, “I can’t imagine if you weren’t in that movie that was such an important scene. Is such a f*cking great scene. So much bigger than you was. So ridiculous. Fun, f*cking fun scene.“The movie was a huge success and collected around $270 million at the box office. Hence, Rogan was so happy that Hogan chose to be a part of the most important scene of the film.

Rogan and Hogan give their opinion on Slap-Fight League

During the same interview, Rogan and Hogan discussed Dana White‘s Power Slap League. Rogan had some observations about the league to share with the WWE legend. The UFC commentator felt that it’s funny how the contenders in the power-slapping league have to undergo doping testing. Rogan joked, “Don’t want a slap fighter who’s f**king drinking green tea and taking creatine. I want my slap fighters drunk, right? Don’t you?”
