UFC’s recent partnership with Logan Paul and KSI-led Prime has been one of the major news this past week. After the announcement, Prime is now the official global sports drink of the promotion serving as a huge boost for the already growing brand. While this might be great news for Paul and KSI, another UFC fighter might find himself in a rather awkward position owing to this partnership. The fighter we are talking about here is UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett.

After the announcement, Paul and KSI went on an Instagram live session where they discussed the partnership and Prime’s overall growth. But what stood out from the session was the part where the duo took a dig at Pimblett and his own brand of energy drink. The Liverpool-born fighter had recently announced his own line of sports drinks called ‘Body Fuel’ which the YouTubers couldn’t help but make fun of.

Logan Paul and KSI roast Paddy Pimblett on Instagram live

Pimblett and Logan Paul already has had an interesting history between them. The hostility between the two started out when the YouTuber called out Pimblett in an interview. Now with UFC’s partnership with Paul‘s line of sports drinks, the 28-year-old surely is going to find himself in a weird spot. Acknowledging this, KSI and Paul had a laugh at the expense of Pimblett during the live session.

“Thanks to the UFC. It’s going to be a wild a** ride. Paddy, I’m coming for you. Watch out, you’re sponsored by Prime now,” stated Paul. The influencer duo erupted in laughter before KSI joined in.

“He can’t promote his drink, what is it? Body fuel or some s***.” And with this KSI also happened to reveal how Pimblett might not be allowed to promote his drink in the UFC.

Logan Paul concluded by saying, “Damn, I’m Paddy’s daddy now.”, while both men continued laughing at Pimblett‘s expense.

Paddy Pimblett recently launched his line of energy drinks ‘Body Fuel’

All this comes after ‘The Baddy’ also launched his own sports drink in collaboration with Applied Nutrition. The UFC Lightweight had even made a comparison video showing how his drink ‘Body Fuel’ was far superior to ‘Prime’. It evidently didn’t go down well with Logan Paul, as the YouTuber even threatened to sue the fighter following the video.

Now with UFC’s partnership with Prime and with the company receiving the rights to brand themselves on the very octagon that Pimblett will fight on, the Englishman might be left feeling awkward.

Interestingly, both the duo share a great relationship with Dana White. The UFC President has made an appearance on separate shows that the two hosts on YouTube as well. But the comments made by Paul and KSI will surely leave the scouser with an unpleasant taste considering his drink is not a part of any UFC deal as of now.
