Dana White and Vince McMahon joined forces by merging their organizations into a single entity this year. While they were once considered fierce rivals, it seems they’ve decided to set their differences aside and become business buddies. But the burning question lurking in the shadows of their partnership is: Did these two powerhouses actually get along back in the day, or was it all just a showbiz smackdown behind the scenes?

The luminary businessmen have had a rather intriguing relationship throughout the years. Dana White in his recent appearance has provided insights on it. Let’s find out what the UFC CEO had to say for Vince McMahon.

Dana White gave his honest opinion on Vince McMahon

The leaders of their respective companies have been direct rivals in the same sports arena. Dana White and Vince McMahon were fierce rivals. Before the unexpected merger, UFC and WWE were considered as the epitome of combat entertainment always hustling to get the top spot. Nevertheless, there have been some occasional overlaps, notably involving heavyweight superstar and former champion, Brock Lesnar.

Luckily, both of these combat giants are partners now and have had a thriving bond since then. Dana White recently had an interaction with “Sports Illustrated”. While in the conversation White gave his honest opinion on McMahon. He said “My history with Vince isn’t a good one, He tried to f—k me so many times for no reason whatsoever except just to f—k me. But that’s in the past. Now that Vince and I are allies, no one’s been a better partner than Vince.”

White further asserted that dealing with McMahon is rather complicated since he has different sides. White praised McMahon as a businessman and stated, “Since day one of the deal, it’s like I’m dealing with a different guy, “It goes to show that when you oppose him, or he thinks you are opposing him, the guy comes after you blindly. Once you are aligned, Vince is an incredible partner.”  White and McMahon share a lot of similarities as businessmen and when White considers this to be true.

As promoters, White and McMahon have common ground when it comes to doing business. Both of them successfully turned the brands into massive entities that were too specialized and intense for the mainstream market. White down in the conversation added, “Vince McMahon, man, he’s an absolute savage. Even with the stuff that went down with us in the past, I respect it. I love killers. He’s definitely a killer. He’s the Michael Jordan of the business world.”

White further stated that he has a great relationship with McMahon’s son-in-law Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. He said “Triple H and Stephanie have always been great to work with. I’ve always had a great relationship with them, always, even when we weren’t aligned back in the day. But the most amazing story is the relationship with Vince McMahon.”
