The recent verbal feud between Conor McGregor and Paul Heyman is heating up. Following Endeavor Group’s purchase of WWE, it is now under the same roof as the UFC. This also implies that top UFC stars like Conor McGregor and WWE figures like Paul Heyman and his client Roman Reigns all work for a common master.

Shortly after news of the purchase, Conor McGregor tweeted his approval of the same. A master at self-promotion, the Irishman also shared a picture of him brandishing a UFC belt and a WWE Championship belt. This invited a response from Heyman and to which McGregor retorted later.

While Heyman called him a Roman Reigns wannabe, McGregor threatened to break Heyman’s jaw in three places.

Now, Heyman has fired shots at McGregor again in an interview with Ariel Helwani. He also addressed McGregor’s threatening comments. For a 57-year-old, Heyman seemed unfazed by McGregor’s comment and even hinted at throwing a punch back at the former champion.

In a clip shared by Helwani on IG, we can see Heyman saying, “It’s not that he tweeted to me. I picked the fight with him. Let’s be honest about this. He, as a Roman Reigns wannabe, did the Paul Heyman style, you know, title on each shoulder, and, you know, gave a shoutout to himself.”

Heyman also claimed that McGregor’s punch on Jose Aldo was a lucky one. ‘The Wiseman’ then said he would take his father’s advice and try to punch McGregor if it came to that.

However, fans advised Heyman against any such interaction with McGregor while praising Heyman’s promotional skills-

Positive as well as negative comments flocked under the post. While it is already an exciting time with WWE and the UFC being under Endeavor, McGregor and Heyman’s bickering is attracting a lot of attention.
