It’s been years since Ronda Rousey left the UFC, but fans and enthusiasts are still awaiting her return to the octagon. Being the first UFC Women’s bantamweight champion, her exceptional skills and persona made her a true veteran of the sport. Rousey’s impactful presence in the UFC not only reshaped the landscape of MMA but has been an inspiration for countless individuals worldwide. Ever since her last UFC match in 2016, fans have been missing her dominating presence in the Octagon.
Even though in an earlier press conference, UFC President Dana White stated that he believes the WWE star is not going to come back to the UFC, recent words from one of Rousey’s close associates suggest otherwise. As he says that Rousey is looking forward to a “reduction in her WWE commitments.”
Ronda Rousey coming back at UFC 300?

Just as the door appeared to close on the possibility of Rousey’s octagon comeback, a confidant of hers stirred the speculation pot once again. In an interview with Daily Mail, the unnamed source revealed a different perspective. According to the confidant, Rousey is eyeing a reduction in her WWE commitments after WWE Summerslam.

“She just had a match at Summer Slam and is looking to wind down her time and commitments with the WWE,” the associate said. Further, the confidant also indicated that Rousey is contemplating making a final return to the UFC. Possibly, ‘Rowdy’ might be aiming for a return at the monumental UFC 300 event, projected for next year.
“She is now focusing on potentially making a run to have one last fight in the UFC and compete at UFC 300 when that presents itself sometime next year,” he said. “(She is) at a current crossroads in her life and career as she is looking to see what she might want to do next,” the unknown source added.
Ronda Rousey’s dream opponent revealed

Digging deeper into the speculation of Rousey’s return, one important question arises – Who will the former champion face if and when she comes back? In a recent interview, Rousey candidly revealed who her dream opponent is. Registering two back-to-back losses against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, many would think ‘Rowdy’ would want to face one of them.

However, her dream opponent is not one of them. Rather, it is the MMA legend Gina Carano. “My dream opponent would be Gina Carano. She’s a pioneer for women’s MMA. I can’t think of a better way to say thank you than to whoop her a**,” she said.
