When the news of the UFC’s multi-billion-dollar merger popped up, fans of both brands wondered if there would be a crossover between the two promotions. However, it has not been the kind of crossover most people expected. We’ve seen UFC fighters and WWE superstars attending each other’s events, but Dana White also revealed that there is a behind-the-scenes crossover between the two promotions as well.
2024 has given us some endearing moments between the UFC and the WWE – from Michael Chandler calling out Conor McGregor on Monday Night Raw to Joaquin Buckley, hugging it out with Randy Orton after his UFC St. Louis win. However, Dana White claims that his promotion has had a profound influence on one aspect of the Triple H-led sports entertainment juggernaut.

The UFC has ‘influenced’ WWE’s production, claims Dana White
Professional wrestling-loving netizens have showered praises on the WWE recently as the head of creative Triple H seems to have adopted a new way of presenting his product on television. The new regime has started using new camera shots, a variety of ways to kick off their TV shows, premium live events, and an overall clean production style. Well, in a stunning revelation, Dana White claimed that these changes in the WWE are all because of his production team.

“Don’t you find that weird that we got involved in the WWE not too long ago? Now, they’re experimenting with that,” Dana White stated during a recent interview. “Our production team has a lot of influence over what’s going on [in WWE].” Interestingly, the UFC seemed to have bettered the WWE production because, for a long time, there were discussions that nobody could pull off the kind of production that the professional wrestling’s biggest promotion can.
With this revelation, one can only imagine what the UFC CEO has planned to pull off the production work for UFC 306 at the Sphere. Meanwhile, Dana White has assured that fans will have a great time, and if you’re wondering why, well, it’s because he’s hired some serious muscle to ensure its success.

The UFC CEO is working with an Emmy award winner for UFC 306
When Dana White claimed he wanted to pit on the greatest live combat sports show ever, he wasn’t messing around. Besides his production team, the 55-year-old hired some of the best talents to work for his UFC 306: Riyadh Season Noche UFC, including one 14-time Emmy Award winner, Glenn Weiss. The Emmy winner has worked on multiple projects, directing live events like the Academy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and the Emmy Awards itself.

“We went after the A-team of talent to be involved in this and every one of them said, ‘You’re nuts and we’re in!’ You know what I mean? At this point, we have literally Oscar-nominated… One of the guys that’s working on the show has won 14 Emmys,” Dana White stated a couple of days ago. He claims that the people involved were motivated to do well due to the challenge of making a UFC event work inside the Sphere, and we will get to see those results this weekend in Las Vegas.
