Conor McGregor’s Next UFC Opponent, Michael Chandler, Reveals Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Request

UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler is set to make an explosive start in his title charge with a potential fight against Conor McGregor. The former Bellator MMA champion seems to be living up to his word of having a good time in the UFC as he nears the back end of his career. The 36-year-old veteran has had some of the most explosive and electric moments in his career in the UFC and the fans admire that.

Moreover, Chandler has a big-name admirer in the form of Dwayne Johnson. ‘Iron’ Mike recently revealed that he wishes to workout with ‘The Rock’.

The UFC lightweight recently appeared in an interview with “Men’s Health”. ‘Iron Mike’ answered a host of questions, including the longevity of his career. The 36-year-old fighter certainly is a specimen when it comes to explosive energy, despite his age.

Furthermore, in the rapid-fire round of the interview, Chandler raised the stakes as he answered the questions in a 47-degree ice barrel. The reporter asked a series of questions which ultimately led to the reporter asking, “If you could work out with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?”

Michael Chandler answered, “Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson”. The UFC lightweight did not hesitate one bit in naming his favored person to work out with.

After Chandler’s last win in the UFC at UFC 274 against Tony Ferguson, the UFC lightweight and the Hollywood superstar exchanged some ‘electric’ messages. Chandler defeated Ferguson via a  front-kick knockout in a brutal fashion.

‘The Rock’ tweeted, “Damn I’m watching from home and you can FEEL the mana and electricity for Chandler vs Ferguson right now thru the screen. Energy just came up in that arena. LFG boys!!! #UFC274″.
