WWE star and former UFC champ Ronda Rousey very recently gave an update on the current status of her injury in an Instagram post. While it clearly must have been a huge disappointment for the 36-year-old to go through her injury right before WrestleMania, the support that she received on the post must have definitely served as a boost of motivation for her. Along with the multitude of fans wishing her a speedy recovery, former UFC legend, Nick Diaz also reached out to Rousey.
Interestingly, her update comes just a few days before WrestleMania. Such news has naturally cast doubts on her return to the promotion on such short notice.

Rousey shared a rather deep look into her current status on the Instagram post. Written in the backdrop of her working out in a short clip, the WWE star went into detail about her previous injuries that were the culmination of years of combat training.
For the current WWE star, it all started back at 16 when she first got her ACL reconstructed after an injury. It was followed by numerous dislocations, which were a direct result of her judo training. She then reveals her elbow eventually fractured when she slapped the mat, right before WrestleMania.
While her injury might create a scare for fans of the WWE star, there definitely was no lack of support for her. Among the numerous well-wishers was former Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz. The duo, known for sharing a great camaraderie, have also earlier trained together during her MMA career as well. Diaz commented with an emoji of a clapping hand, which literally was an appreciation of her determination and her commitment to her work ethic.

With her update, it is not exactly clear what the promotion has in plans for Rousey. Since she has not wrestled for quite a while now, the injury might just be a good enough reason for her to skip this year’s WrestleMania.
