Jon Jones is all set to return to the Octagon and go against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. His return after three years is, in fact, one of the most anticipated comebacks in the MMA world. Without a doubt, the fighter’s heavyweight debut is greatly hyped by the fans. Jones previously teased his heavyweight debut against Francis Ngannou. Unfortunately, the fight could not happen since Ngannou moved to fight in the squared ring. However, the former light heavyweight champion also has a name when it comes to fantasy fights.

In a recent interview with Karisa Maxwell from ‘Sporting News’, ‘Bones’ revealed that fighting the WWE legend, Brock Lesnar would be interesting. He supported his fantasy with a bit of fact, like how big it would be for the sport. Surprisingly, he also called Lesnar out for a fight.

Jones recently appeared in an interview with the ‘Sporting News’. Prior to his grand debut in the heavyweight division of the UFC, ‘Bones’ was asked about his fantasy fight. “If you could fight anybody, ever, would your ultimate fantasy fight be?” Maxwell asked Jones.

Doubtlessly, the former UFC light heavyweight champion surprised the world with his reply. He revealed that he wished to fight against Brock Lesnar if he ever got the chance. ‘Bones’ said, “I think fighting Brock Lesnar would have been really cool. Brock isn’t the most technical guy, but he has a massive fanbase. He’s a lot bigger than me. It would have been one of those cool David and Goliath situations. It would have been cool from cross-sport promoting and we both would have done great things for our family and our team. Financially, that would have been massive.”

As if simply dreaming was not enough, the former champion also issued a challenge to the former heavyweight fighter. “Never say never,” exclaimed the fighter and went ahead to call out Lesnar. “Brock, if you’re out there…”, said Jones. However, this wasn’t the first time Jones called out Lesnar. Prior to the events of UFC 214, Jones called out the WWE legend. However, Lesnar warned Jones and asked him to be careful about what he wished for. Nevertheless, Jones promised a bit more than one fight in the heavyweight division.
