Conor McGregor will fight his TUF opposition coach, Michael Chandler after the show wraps up on ESPN. However, he is nearing the deadline for entering the USADA testing pool. Noticing McGregor’s predicament, former UFC heavyweight star Mark Hunt pinged Dana White in a tweet asking him to exempt ‘Notorious’ just like he did for Brock Lesnar.

The former double champion has been inactive for almost two years. However, he wasn’t just healing from his injury at that time, he was also involved in his Out-the-Octagon businesses. He wrapped up filming his first Hollywood flick. ‘Notorious’ then also released his docuseries, ‘McGregor Forever’ on Netflix. However, now is his last opportunity to enter USADA’s pool and become eligible to fight this year.

An NCAA champion, Brock Lesnar, by all odds, outwrestled ‘Super Samoan’ Mark Hunt at UFC 200. ‘The Beast Incarnate’ won the fight but the bout was later declared a no-contest after Lesnar failed a couple of drug tests. This came in the wake of the UFC exempting Brock Lesnar from the USADA’s testing pool because he came in late and was unable to complete USADA’s standardized testing pool duration.

As a jibe, Mark Hunted Suggested Dana White do the same favor to Conor McGregor and exempt him from drug testing. He said, [Dana White] why don’t u give [Conor McGregor] the same exemption u gave that baboon [Brock Lesnar] or what ever this cheating rats insta is.”

Mark Hunt took another jibe mocking the UFC wondering if they believe they are above the law. The ‘Super Samoan’ added, “I wonder if the [UFC and Dana White] is above the law? What do u guys think ?” Let us see what the Conor McGregor situation is looking like.

Conor McGregor needs to enter the USADA testing pool immediately

Conor McGregor doesn’t have much time left. Today, the 16th of June, is the last chance for the Irishman to register himself under the USADA’s testing pool. The current plan is for him to make his comeback at UFC 296. However, failure to enter the mandatory testing pool can diminish the chances of McGregor fighting in 2023.

There is only one way for McGregor to fight Michael Chandler this year, and that is an exemption, similar to the situation that occurred with Brock Lesnar. However, it seems highly unlikely because USADA notified earlier that exemptions are currently not applicable to Conor McGregor.
