In prizefighting, success is based on setting fights that are financially better than your previous ones. And in the current social media world, fighters demean each other on social media platforms to get fans’ attention and set up bigger fights. Following such strategies are YouTubers turned fighters, who are leveraging their social media following to build brands and then calling out fellow Youtubers/celebrities to a fight, getting more eyeballs on them and their brand.
Probably building on such a strategy is Logan Paul, who is fighting Dillon Danis on October 14th. With his upcoming bout against Danis on the horizon, the Youtuber-Boxer, now a WWE star, has unapologetically directed his attention toward UFC star Conor McGregor.

In a recent barrage of taunts and criticisms online, Logan has taken aim at McGregor’s fighting prowess and called him an ‘average MMA fighter.’ Taking shots at McGregor, Logan said, “Conor McGregor is an average MMA fighter and a horrible boxer.”
Logan then turned his attention towards his upcoming opponent and said, “I am gonna beat the sh*t out of his bi*ch Dillon, and then I wanna beat the sh*t out of him,” highlighting his interest in fighting McGregor.

The social media star also highlighted McGregor’s alleged reluctance to bet a substantial amount of money on his sparring partner, Dillon Danis. Logan said, “But he’s ghost me bro. He won’t even bet a million dollars on his fighter. That’s chump change for a guy like Conor. He won’t even bet a million dollars on Dillon.”
Logan’s online beef history with McGregor
This is not the first time Logan has berated McGregor. The social media star had called McGregor earlier on Twitter but received no response from the two-division UFC champion. Logan expressed his skepticism about McGregor stepping into the ring against him.

“He had nothing to say when I called him out on Twitter. So, you think he’s gonna step in there himself? I don’t know, feels unlikely,” said Logan, underscoring McGregor’s lack of interest in fighting the YouTuber-boxer.
However, during the recently concluded Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius event, McGregor made a call out to Logan’s business partner, KSI. His recent antics made True Geordie, a prominent 6’3″ YouTuber and podcaster, say, “Conor cares so much about attention.”
