Khabib Nurmagomedov loves many things. However, his love for MMA, wrestling, and soccer has been evident for a long time now. In his recent Instagram post, he can be seen sitting by the closest edge of the stadium. Right at the bottom on AC Milan’s San Siro Stadium, Nurmagomedov met Ibrahimovich, and the two posed for pictures.

They also held a brief conversation that was a bit inaudible but it looked like they were familiar. That’s because the two have crossed paths before. Do you remember the last time they were together? The two have been friends for a while, hence the caption of the post, “Thank you my Friend @iamzlatanibrahimovic”.
The two were also snapped together back in 2022 at the France Vs. Argentina when the latter team took the World Cup. Nurmagomedov stood next to Ibrahimovich as well as Paul Pogba in a picture. The two are close enough for the retired Soccer icon to send Nurmagomedov a special message around the time the fighter decided to retire.

People talk when you’re number one.” Ibrahimovich told Nurmagomedov as the latter was seen listening to his voice on the phone. ‘The Eagle’ has been quiet about what the message meant for him keeping his friendship with the athlete private. One can only speculate that perhaps it was about his retirement. What do you think it was about?
