Soccer Aid is a charity event that brings together renowned football players, celebrities, and other public figures to raise funds for UNICEF’s life-saving work. This year Leon Edwards featured in World XI alongside ex-Manchester United‘s Luis Nani and Patrice Evra, ex-Roma legend Francesco Totti, and boxer Tommy Fury. Furthermore, Lionel Messi‘s former boss, Mauricio Pochettino, managed World XI.

Furthermore, England also featured some legends of their own. England included ex-Manchester United legends Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, and Gary Neville. Additionally, former ‘One Direction’ singer Liam Payne was also present.

The ‘World XI’ team emerged victorious for the fifth consecutive year, defeating England with a scoreline of 4-2. Usain Bolt, Kem Cetinay, and a remarkable brace from Robbie Keane led World XI to a comprehensive victory. Additionally, ‘S*x Education’ actor Asa Butterfield also scored against Leon Edwards who featured as a goalkeeper.
