“Sergio Will Have Problems With His Wife”: Fans Have a Field Day After Ex-UFC Straweight Champ Welcomes PSG Star Sergio Ramos to the “Gang”

Sergio Ramos made a surprise appearance at a recent UFC event and turned a lot of heads. The Spanish soccer legend was in attendance at UFC Jacksonville on Saturday to cheer for compatriot Ilia Topuria. Post Topuria’s win over Josh Emmett in the main event, Ramos met ‘El Matador’ backstage, exchanged greetings, and posed for pictures.

The former Real Madrid captain’s appearance created a lot of noise within the MMA community, mostly because a vast majority of the fans did not know him and had to be educated. Since soccer is still growing in the US, Ramos’ star power was not familiar among a lot of the UFC fans.

However, that may have just changed thanks to retired UFC star Joanna Jędrzejczyk. The former UFC strawweight champion shared a welcome message for Ramos after the 37-year-old followed her on Instagram. The Polish MMA icon’s message to the PSG star also received a lot of hilarious reactions from fans who may have assumed a little too much.

In the video she shared, Joanna Jędrzejczyk said, “Sergio Ramos, thanks for follow. Welcome on board. I guess you like UFC.” The 35-year-old was sporting a pair of sunglasses and blew a kiss at the end for the ex-Spanish national team captain. As she said the last sentence, Jedrzejczyk also gave a peek at her UFC title on the shelf behind her.

In the caption, ‘The Boogeywoman’ wrote, “Well, well… Sergi @sergioramos . Been a fan for a long time, but have not expected to see you here! Welcome to the gang!”
