‘Remember the Name’ recently caught up with famous comedian and podcast host Andrew Schulz. The pair seemed to have had some fun in each other’s company as Belal Muhammad shared a post of him posing with the ‘Flagrant’ host on social media. However, the welterweight star also did not fail to take aim at Leon Edwards, dissing the hero’s welcome when he got back home in Birmingham. As such, Muhammad sent a message to ‘Rocky’.

It seems like Belal Muhammad has the support of Andrew Schulz, and that’s all he needs. He said, “I don’t need a soccer team I got Schulz on team Muhammad,” said the 2nd-ranked welterweight. He has been constantly taking aim at Leon Edwards since the latter’s win at UFC 296, in an attempt to make his claim to the title shot official. ‘Rocky’ gets a massive reaction at Villa Park

Leon Edwards is becoming one of the biggest sporting figures in the UK. This was apparent after he made a brief appearance during his hometown club Aston Villa soccer match against Burnley. Edwards came to the pitch during halftime at Villa Park to a roaring reaction from the crowd in attendance. That wasn’t it. The UFC welterweight champion also caught up with some of the stars from the soccer team in the dressing room.

Diego Carlos, Leon Bailey, and even 2022 World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez were some of the Aston Villa stars who posed with Leon Edwards for some pictures. It was certainly a significant moment for ‘Rocky’ given how much fans love soccer in the United Kingdom, and to get recognition from the local team is a significant achievement for the welterweight champion.

Leon Edwards awaits the next opponent for his third title defense. After recently dismissing Belal Muhammad as the potential contender for his championship, the Birmingham native seemingly agreed to fight ‘Remember the Name’, claiming that he will oblige if the UFC wants him to go down that route.
