The fans aren’t pleased with Conor McGregor’s latest antics on social media after sending the MMA world into a meltdown with the cancellation of UFC 303! ‘The Notorious’s return to the Octagon faced a set-back as it was announced by the UFC and CEO Dana White that McGregor is out of his clash against Michael Chandler on June 29. According to a statement made by McGregor on X, “Very tough to be ruled out of my scheduled return bout. I picked up an injury prior to the press conference that required more time to heal than was available to me.”

The Irish MMA icon also stated that he is confident that he’ll return to the Octagon soon, however, questions have been floating around the MMA fandom about the nature and severity of the injury. Some even speculate that the injury might be a ploy by McGregor to secure better terms for his UFC contract which still has 2 fights left on it currently. However, Dana White shut down the rumors in a recent interview on ‘The Jim Rome Show’ where he stated, “Conor McGregor never leads up to a fight and tries to renegotiate his contract or get more money. He’s never done anything even remotely close to that.”

However, it appears that Conor McGregor is busy enjoying himself watching ‘Euro 2024’ as he recently shared on Instagram, “60 G’s on @Cristiano to retain his Euro Golden Boot. Siuuu!”.
