It’s clear that Francis Ngannou has landed on his feet with the PFL, and he’s happy to be a part of a promotion that values sportsmanship and competition. During his recent interview with TMZ, the 36-year-old expressed his delight in new beginnings while discussing why the UFC deal couldn’t reach to mutual agreement.

“I am happy and I think- by the way, I think the deal didn’t work because they know that they couldn’t reach some extent,” said Ngannou.

He further added, “The only thing that they put in the contract usually is that the fighter fight into this month at this time. It’s just number[s] and they get excited. They know how much you are making, they know which number you haven’t seen in your life [and they will] just put some more numbers and get you excited. But compared to this[PFL] one, that deal had nothing.”
