It appears that after dominating his time in the UFC, Alistair Overeem is now eyeing a switch. Additionally, he has a million dollars worth of reason for doing so, literally. The Dutch fighter was recently observed watching a battle at ONE Championship from the cage side. And given that he reportedly contacted the Singapore-based MMA promotion in an effort to seek a spot at their upcoming big event, this appearance undoubtedly represents a development on that rumor.
Besides, Overeem last fought in the UFC in February 2021 against Alexander Volkanovski and lost the bout via TKO. It’s almost two years now since the 42-year-old has been in action. Until now. This ONE Championship event is something that has sparked his interest and seems like fans are loving the idea as much, too.
