The UFC head honcho Dana White is known to disrupt the industry with unique ideas. Just like he and the Fertitta brothers embarked on a journey to make UFC the best promotion in combat sports, he might be planning to do something similar once again. When the trio started with UFC, it was nothing and with an idea like introduction of UFC Fight pass and UFC Gyms, he revolutionized the whole promotion. This time what he said was music to Travis Pastrana’s ears because the boss plans to make Nitrocross reach new heights.

During an exclusive interview, the action sports legend spoke about the new venture in detail and gave some good news to the fans.

During an interview with TMZ, Pastrana spoke about some plans ahead of the upcoming season that kicks off this weekend. This time it’s going to be more unique because it is going to be a family affair surprisingly! For the unversed, Nitro Cross is pretty intense because it’s all about intense car racing and the vehicles have thousand horsepower or even more! The courses have massive bumps and hurdles and cars are always flying all over the place. So you can already imagine how deadly it must be. Last year, the UFC boss decided to buy Nitro Cross and Nitro Circus. This was a perfect pairing because Pastrana considers nitro cross to be the “UFC of motorsports”.

Just like UFC, it has all the elements that make it entertaining, but also intense and lethal. He explained, “He (Dana) just kinda came in he went to the first round, and he was like ‘All right what is this all about? And how can we make it something revolutionary? Something completely different in the realm of not just motorsport, or action sport, or even like, pop culture if you will. Like how can we provide an entertainment that Your kids can go to, Your grandparents can go to And everyone can come and be entertained.’”

According to him, the main goal, the entire time was to be entertaining, but also very professional. The best driver is always going to win and that is why he considers us to be the UFC of motorsports. He also mentioned that, even though it is dangerous, that is exactly what the crowd wants to see since it induces adrenaline.

This time it is going to be legendary for the star, especially because his wife who is an X Gameachamp is participating along with him. This is truly inspiring for the two daughters and the fans as well. Coming back to Dana White who bought the $300 million investment, the UFC boss definitely should give his insights on which business. This is because he has more ventures outside of UFC and most of them are extremely successful so let’s take a look.

The 56-year-old came from nothing and Rome was not built in one day. He’s one of the most successful businessmen today and owns several businesses including $20 million worth of UFC. Fortunately, he did not gatekeep his business knowledge or the number of companies that he owns. The boss previously discussed all of this in a YouTube video.

In the YouTube video, White says, “So over the last couple of years, I have dove into many businesses. I own a company called Throw One with the Fertitta brothers. We hold Ridiculousness, which is on MTV. We own Nitro Circus, we own SLS Skate League, and Travis Pastors Nitro Cross. I love brand building, and we are having a blast with that. We are about to get a residency here in Vegas at the Paris with Nitro Circus.”
