NFL star Patrick Mahomes has responded to UFC fighter Julian Marquez’s callout at UFC on ABC 2. The middleweight fighter defeated Sam Alvey by submission and earned back-to-back wins in the process. Julian Marquez has now won three out of his four fights in the UFC.
Marquez has been doing some interesting call-outs recently during his time on the mic for the post-fight interviews. Previously, he called out Miley Cyrus after his win over Maki Pitolo at UFC 258. This time he called out NFL outfit Kansas City Chiefs’ stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill for a game of badminton or pickleball.
The Super Bowl LIV MVP winner shared a few laughter emojis and wrote, “Need a couple weeks but Im always down for a challenge.”

Julian Marquez has earned three submissions in the UFC
‘The Cuban Missile Crisis’ was known for the power in his hands and his knockout prowess before he arrived at the UFC. But with time, he has shown massive improvements in his grappling game as well, and his submission game has been on point. Apart from his split decision loss against Alessio Di Chirico, Marquez has finished all his UFC fights by submission.

Based on his form and entertainment value, he should get a higher-ranked opponent next term. A few more wins in the same vein and wins over higher-ranked contenders will see Julian Marquez carve a niche for himself in the UFC’s middleweight division.
