The arrest of Patrick Mahomes Sr. has come at the most unfavorable timing for Mahomes Jr. His arrest happened just weeks before his son’s fourth Super Bowl appearance. However, this is not the first time that the former MLB player has faced legal issues. Records from Smith County show that he has been arrested for a total of six times for DWI. He posted, “My sense is he is a very genuine man. Let’s pull for him to get help over punishment. I get that there can be both, but I’d like to see grace.”

Mahomes Sr, has been released on bail of $ 10,000 bond on Sunday. However, he did receive a 40-day jail sentence in 2018 and served on weekends, starting from February 2019 till February 2020. The Mahomes family has been facing a lot of trouble lately after his brother was cleared of three felony charges recently. However, MMA legend and analyst Chael Sonnen feels that the UFC has one fight lined up for the PPV event. In a recent YouTube video, he revealed the promotion has asked Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya to fight at UFC 300. The pair has no love lost between them since the “real African” debate, and Sonnen feels this is a perfect setting for UFC 300.

During the video, he said, “I can personally confirm for you [that] DDP has been offered Izzy at [UFC] 300 [and] Izzy has been offered DDP at [UFC] 300. I can personally tell you that happened.” He further added, “I cannot tell you which side, if either side or potentially both sides, said no. I don’t have that piece of the story,”
