Former UFC star Nate Diaz, who spent over 15 years in the promotion, is gearing up for a new challenge after the completion of his contractual obligations with UFC. While the renowned fighter’s next destination is shrouded in mystery, the speculations of him donning heavier boxing gloves have gained traction. Regardless of the promotion or the combat sports he might choose next, the ‘Stockton Slapper’ promises to entertain his loyal followers. The MMA star, due to his gutsy and impetuous style, amassed a lengthy fan following that transcends American boundaries and cuts through the different sports fans. Similarly, the American fighter recently found himself a vocal fan who publically admitted his likening to the fighter.

Notably, the 37-year-old has a huge fan in the San Francisco 49ers running back, Christian McCaffrey. The NFL star, recently in a brief conversation with Inside Fighting, announced his ardent emotions for the Stockton native. Additionally, McCaffrey expressed he wanted to witness Diaz making a comeback.

Following this, the correspondent requested the thoughts of the football player about the presumably floated fight between Diaz and the YouTube sensation Jake Paul. Markedly, the younger of the Paul brothers recently signed up with the UFC’s rival promotion, PFL.

However, the NFL star, who recently found a new home in the 49ers after a switch from Carolina Panthers, escaped from responding.
