UFC Columbus was a historic night for the promotion. The UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Daukaus set a record high grossing in the US. Sources stated that the UFC racked in a massive 1.9 million-dollar gate with a sold-out arena. Daniel Cormier was ecstatic over a certain someone in attendance.

Among the fans in attendance, Joe Burrow, the Quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League, was also there. Holding the Bengals franchise records for passer rating, completion percentage, and single-game passing yards, he is one of the best and most talented young players in the NFL.

Burrow was in attendance to watch the event and, naturally, was well received by other personalities. Daniel Cormier reposted a story of commentator Jon Anik, where Cormier and Anik are seen taking a picture with Burrow.

The story was captioned, “Good to have 9 in the building last night!” which refers to Burrow’s signature jersey number. The story also had a music stamp on it named ‘Who Dey is.’ ‘Who dey‘ is an abbreviation for the Bengals’ official chant “Who dey, who dey, who dey think gonna beat dem Bengals?”

Joe Burrow’s visit to the UFC event went viral among US sports fans. The Bengals’ quarterback also had a chat with UFC flyweight Kai Kara-France backstage.

It looks as though not all guests are friendly with Daniel Cormier at UFC events. Nonetheless, in an infamous event, YouTube star Jake Paul had a run-in with Daniel Cormier at UFC 261 after the former double champ warned Jake Paul over his comments to former UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley

Cormier, earlier that week, tweeted, “I mean the way this dude talked to T- wood makes my skin crawl. All these kids are going to get taught a lesson I swear. And I can’t wait for it, @JLeonLove you can’t fight. Better respect dudes like @TWooodley before he puts his hands on you. He ain’t Ben!”
