Week 14 of the NFL gave fans one of the most magnificent games of the season. Wide receiver Puka Nacua truly stood out as one of the game’s key figures as the Los Angeles Rams dominated the Buffalo Bills in their first home win against them since 1983. The 44-42 victory will help them remain in contention for the top slot as they chase the Seahawks, but it was a sensational catch by Nacua that stole the spotlight, earning him praise from fans, as well as UFC CEO Dana White.
With 7:33 left in the first half, Matthew Stafford threw a ball for Nacia that appeared to be going out of bounds. Despite many losing confidence, Nacua jumped toward the sideline to catch the ball in midair. If that didn’t look spectacular enough, Nacua pulled the impossible by landing with both his toes inbound, completing the catch and first down. While cornerback Christian Benford believed that his opponent had not made a legal catch, the replays proved that Nacua had in fact done the impossible.
This was an unbelievable moment for the Los Angeles Rams’ wide receiver, as he shared a photo of this catch on his Instagram story. But little did he know that he would also earn praise from UFC head honcho Dana White. The UFC boss took to his Instagram story to reshare the photo of Puka Nacua’s catch, and he wondered in the caption as to how the stunt was pulled off on the field. “Still tryna figure this out @pukaizded,” and “@pukaizded Such a BAD A** game!!”

This praise is well-deserved since Nacua set some records for himself. Like everyone predicted, the MVP of the game was Puka Nacua. He managed to catch twelve passes for 162 yards and secured a touchdown in the highly anticipated matchup. On Sunday, he became the first Rams player ever with at least 150 receiving yards, one touchdown catch, and one touchdown run; this also made him the 16th such player in NFL history to claim those numbers in the last decade, alongside CeeDee Lamb.

On the other side, Josh Allen made NFL history by being the first player to make 3 successful passes for touchdowns and also rushing for 3 touchdowns, all in a single game for the Buffalo Bills. But that’s not all. This was the first game in NFL history where each team scored at least 40 points and committed no turnovers. It was an even sweeter win for the Rams because they won against the team that came in with the best turnover differential in the NFL.
So, it was a match that left fans excited. As for Dana White, this isn’t the first time that he was all praise for Puka Nacua.

As we all know, Dana White has a close relationship with Puka Nacua. This relationship goes back to the days before Nacua moved to Utah and lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, where White’s UFC is based. According to White, Nacua grew up in their house due to his close bond with White’s son, as well as his stunning performances for the ‘Little Cowboys,’ a team that he used to fund.
So when White saw a video of Puka Nacua enjoying himself in a Nitro Cross vehicle, the UFC head honcho couldn’t help but give him a little shoutout. Taking to his Instagram, Dana White shared the video with the caption, “My boy @pukaizded rode in the @nitrocross car today!!” It looked like White was a proud father who was seeing his kid growing up and achieving feats many could only dream of.
