Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey are arguably the most well-known UFC fighters in the history of the sport. Both of them are world-class athletes who have showcased their talents not only in the UFC but also in other combat sports. Their fighting style might be focused on one dominant skill. Francis Ngannou ͏was recently invited to Club Shay Shay’s YouTube ch͏annel for an interview, hosted by Shannon Sharpe, the legend͏ary NFL player. The former NFL ͏player believes that in the sport of MMA, one cannot afford to rely solely on one skill or be one-dimensional. He asse͏rts that UFC legends like ͏Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey were one-dimensional fighters.

While having a conversation with Ngannou, Sharpe stated his opinion about McGregor and Rousey being one-dimensional players. Ngannou on the other hand believes that both of the fighters were much more than one dimesnional fighter.

While defending Conor Mcgregor Ngannou stated that McGregor has a good ground game.“he has a good ground game too.” Sharpe then interrupted the ‘Predator’ and stated that McGregor’s ground game was broken by several fighters. Ngannou further added that somebody will always be better.

“Somebody will always have a better ground game than somebody, and when they say you have a decent ground game, it’s not the best in the game. You know, it’s a sport of multiple disciplines, multiple dimensions. You have to be decent at, and most of the time, a champion is not great at one thing,” voiced Ngannou. Subsequently, Sharpe’s response didn’t sit well with the fans.

It can be understood from the reactions of the netizens that they are not amused by Sharpe’s comments towards McGregor and Rousey. They state that even if McGregor and Rousey are one-dimensional fighters they have achieved enough that the multi-dimensional fighters couldn’t.
