The women’s strawweight division in the UFC has some of the best fighters and Zhang Weili is one of them. Her last fight was against Rose Namajunas at UFC 261 and unfortunately, Weili suffered a TKO and lost her prestigious title. ‘Magnum’ has been fighting in theUFC since 2018 and Namajunas has effectively blocked her way.
The Chinese mixed martial artist will now fight at UFC 268. Weili will once again face Namajunas and this fight will give her the opportunity to avenge her previous loss. She has had to make several changes in order to improve her skills. She also moved her training camp to the US and retired UFC fighter Henry Cejudo is helping her improve her game and strategy.

Cejudo has been the former flyweight and bantamweight champion. Advice from such an accomplished fighter is indispensable for Weili. She has enjoyed an almost spotless record with just two losses. Rose Namajunas is the only UFC fighter to defeat her until now. Defeating ‘Thug’ in the upcoming bout will again solidify her reputation as one of the best fighters to grace the UFC’s strawweight division.
