When Terrence Howard appeared on JRE episode #2152 and made bizarre claims about debunking established scientific theories, people begged Joe Rogan to invite someone to counter the actor’s wild theories. And guess what? Rogan actually did it!

What exactly did Howard say that got many riled up? Well, for starters, he stated that planets were just parts of the sun that were ejected billions of years ago. Next, he also claimed that he has memories from his mother’s womb. He even questioned universally established concepts in mathematics and so, on a brand new JRE episode, people witnessed Howard getting confronted about his ideas.

With a PhD from Harvard, Eric Weinstein refutes Howard’s bizarre theories!

Howard is known for his roles in ‘Iron Man’, ‘Crash’ and his show ‘The Empire’. However, he is also popular for creating his own theory called Terryology. In fact, he had even sent his theoretical papers to famous scientist Neil Degrasse Tyson, who refused to check them and refuted all the ideas.

But on JRE #2171, Howard appeared along with Eric Weinstein and both went back and forth. The PhD holder started by saying, “Terrence has much greater odds of contributing to the world of engineering than he does to the world of mathematics. I mean, the odds that he’s doing something new in mathematics, I’ll be very blunt, are very very small.”

“Even thought I have patents on it that shows that all…,” Howard stated but Weinstein quickly cut him off by stating, “I don’t want to go there. The patents do not speak to what you think that they speak to.”

Further in the conversation, when Howard talked about producing a super-symmetrical structure, Weinstein again questioned him if he knew what the concept really was.
Weinstein: “I don’t know that you know what a super symmetry is.”
Howard: “Supersymmetry means that all things come together, fit together, relate to each other. They’re self-referential…”
Weinstein: “What you mean is a symmetry that is amped up. But super symmetry is a reserved term that means something hyper particular.”

After a bit of back and forth, Rogan explained how Weinstein was speaking about the term with a fixed definition, whereas Howard had a slightly different idea about it. Hence, Weinstein further said, “You’re using a reserved term … and you’re using it incorrectly and you’re going to pay a penalty.”

“Okay, I don’t want to pay no…,” the actor responded.

Let us discuss the same conversation but in MMA terms. Imagine two fighters in the cage. Fighter A just landed a front kick. However, the commentator claimed it was a side kick. Both are different types of kicks and a fan who knows the distinction between them might get annoyed at the commentator. Well, that seems to be the same situation going on between Howard and Weinstein.

Weinstein would prefer the term Supersymmetry be used in the right manner, whereas Howard seems to use it with a different idea in mind. Eric Weinstein is a mathematician and economist. Back in 1992, he completed his PhD dissertation in Mathematics from Harvard, and post that, he also held research positions in the departments of mathematics, physics, and economics.

He clearly did not agree with Howard’s theories. In fact, even Rogan seemed to understand that the actor’s theories were quite different. However, in his previous conversations with Howard, Joe Rogan was actually left awestruck!

The previous conversations Joe Rogan had with the Hollywood actor left everyone feeling a bit uneasy. After all, Howard’s ideas were completely different in comparison to classical scientific theories that people know. In fact, Neil deGrasse Tyson openly disagreed with Terrence Howard.

However, Howard did find a supportive friend in Joe Rogan who was shocked by the claims but was also impressed by them. While promoting the episode on Instagram, the UFC color commentator wrote, “It’s a wild one, and I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of mixed reviews, but as crazy as some of the things this man is saying are, he’s brilliant, and if he’s right, it’s going to change the world.”

Terrence Howard might have impressed Rogan, but it might take him some time to convince the scientific world about his claims. Now as per the information available, the actor doesn’t have an engineering degree. However, his love for science and math guided him to Morgan State University Institute of Urban Research, where he interacted with the youth and motivated them to pursue STEM-related careers in 2022.

Back then, the actor also participated in a panel discussion with several other scholars. He shared how he developed and patented his ideas.

What do you think about the theories presented by the actor? Do you think there might be some truth to his scientific explanations?
