Joe Rogan seemingly has a huge arsenal of dating advice for the commoners. The famed and beloved color commentator has previously attacked dating applications and deemed them all to be simply useless. However, the UFC commentator took a different approach to dating, when it came to the hypocrisy involved in it. In the latest episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, featuring the writer and fellow podcaster, Bridget Phetasy, Rogan tackled the topic of younger people dating much older people. The duo talked about the Hollywood legend, Leonardo DiCaprio, dating 19-year-old girls.

In contrast to that, the world seemingly had different opinions when it came to young men dating much older women. Without a doubt, the scent of hypocrisy was picked up by the famed podcaster, and he expressed his views on the said topic.

In the JRE episode #1941, Rogan and Phetasy stumbled upon the dating world. Rogan talked about the dating styles of people like Jeff Bezos and Leonardo DiCaprio. He talked about the time when Bezos’ girlfriend was eyeing DiCaprio and the richest man alive joked about pushing the actor off a cliff. However, the discussion wasn’t far from the fact that DiCaprio liked to date women between the age group of 19-23 years.

Rogan commented, “Well, even if you’re 19, as soon as you hit 24, he’s gonna be shopping.” Phetasy chimed in and stated a probable reason why DiCaprio preferred that particular age group. She said, “Because I’m like, he’s this like eco-warrior on his yacht which, don’t get me started…, but maybe he feels like by taking their fertile years, he’s like diminishing the population.” Although Rogan believed that people were allowed to have fun, he couldn’t steer clear of the fact that people had a difference in opinion when the gender roles were reversed.

Rogan said, “There’s no, he’s having fun and you’re allowed to have fun. What’s fascinating to me is that people get mad at him for dating 19-year-olds. But, because he’s 50 or whatever. He is, he’s close to 50, right? He’s 50, 46, 7, 8. It’s a giant difference. But here’s the thing, if it was the other way, if it was a 19-year-old guy and a 48-year-old woman, it would be like ‘you go girl’. Nobody would be upset at all.”
