Although Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal seemed to have hit it off ahead of Paul’s boxing bout with Ben Askren. It seems like the two aren’t on good terms anymore. Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley is just around the corner. The highly anticipated event has captured the undivided attention of MMA and boxing fans alike.
Jake Paul has certainly proven his dedication to the sport of boxing, working on his skills and strength development, and is confident in his ability to outbox Woodley. However, since many believe the 24-year-old has bitten off more than he can chew this time around, this could be the end of Paul’s boxing endeavors.
And while that could be the case, UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal believes a loss to a decorated fighter like Woodley won’t be a devastating setback. The BMF title holder recently appeared in an interview with DAZN boxing, where he gave his thoughts on what a loss to Woodley would mean for Jake Paul.

“If he loses to Woodley, or when he loses to Woodley, what he should do is show how much he really wants it, you know. You want to box? What’s one loss going to do? Get out there, keeping getting after it, you lost to an ex-world champion, doesn’t mean anything. Go beat up another four, five guys, people will kinda forget that loss, give you a pass. You’re a Disney guy anyways, fighting UFC champions. Everybody’s going to give you a pass. And you get right back after you show the world how bad you want it, you know, win or lose.”
Even if Masvidal’s comment may result from his falling out with Paul, there is some truth to it. Nevertheless, we will only know what’s next for Paul come fight night.
