Brazilian Bigfoot Antonio Silva was one who had a long MMA career. He fought across several promotions, including the UFC, Strikeforce, EliteXC, and others. While the fighter once was on a 13-1 Pro-MMA record but his performances started ending in losses. Silva finished his Pro-MMA record at 19-14-1 and moved on to Kick-Boxing and Bare Knuckle boxing. His nickname ‘Bigfoot’ comes from him being a big-framed guy. He is 6 ft 4 inches in height and weighs 264 lbs.

In a recent Instagram picture that he shared, Silva showed his massive hands and wrote a caption that may have been a hinting toward his willingness to get into the slapping game. We could also compare his hands to the huge Brock Lesnar‘s.

Silva showing his massive hands drew attention from athletes and fans alike. People were in awe of the size of hands that could have served very well in a powerslap match.

Silva‘s caption read, There is not a human being on earth who could survive my slap!” Fans had some great comments to share about the post.

Reacting to Silva’s hands and claims, BJJ star Braulio Estima said, Glad we are friends”.

Another fan’s hilarious comment read, We’re friends as from now. I’ll give you caipirinha & picanha”. 

A few fans looked excited at the prospect of seeing Silva in Dana White’s Powerslap. He said, Go Big and make that neck spin”. 

Fans were awestruck to see bigfoot’s big hands. A fan said, Your hands are as big as your feet. Amazing, I love it”.

Fans suggested a new nickname for Silva, calling him “Big slap Silva”. 

One fan had a particularly funny comment that read, “I remember when we went to shoot the Federal Police that the rifle looked like a little gun in your hand!!!”

Antonio Silva has moved on from MMA

Antonio Silva has ventured into other sports like the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and Glory Kickboxing. Unfortunately, he hasn’t seen victory outside of UFC. He was knocked out twice in Kickboxing and also in the one-off Bare knuckle fight that he featured in at BKFC 8 against UFC veteran Gabriel Gonzaga.
