What did Jon Peters say to Joe Rogan?
The Hollywood veteran shared unsettling details of his childhood. He confessed, “My father died in front of me and my best friend shot. He was going over the fence in juve [juvenile center]. Lot of stuff did happen to me as a kid.”
Joe Rogan reacted and said, ” You just glossed over some pretty crazy stories. You saw your father died in front of you?”
Peters, without reservation, replied to his question and told, “Yeah, sh*t pi**in’ and go. It took a long time to get over it but I never got over it.” At this moment, all Joe Rogan could do was sigh in sympathy.
However, Peters goes on to explain, “But women saved my life. Because every time I got somebody good, she was smart, she was talented, and she filled in as a barber, gave me a career, and my wife gave me love.”
Rogan on this occasion replied, “That’s beautiful”.
